Jack A. Little, 73, a former Crawfordsville businessman, died Thursday morning in Americana Nursing Home at Lafayette. He had been in failing health for about 10 weeks but had been a patient in the nursing home for only one day. Mr. Little resided at 5025 Carvel St., Indianapolis. He was born July 12, 1897, in Darlington, to Martin and Kathryn McGuire Little. He married Ethel Runyan who died in May. He was retired from the furniture business. He had owned and operated the Little Furniture Store in Crawfordsville and had managed the Foster Furniture Store at Lafayette from 1939-43. He had resided in Indianapolis for the past 10 years. He was a former member of the Lafayette Elks Club. Surviving are a son, Jack of Delphi; a stepson, Sam Stark of Plainfield; a daughter, Virginia L. May of San Francisco; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday by Rev. W. Michael Kettron in Sullivan-Lloyd Funeral Home at Delphi. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home between 4-9 p.m. Friday. – jlr
